Liga Privada 9 Review

The Label Factor:

I feel like a broken record. Drew Estate: Your cigars are sexy.  The black and grey label on the dark brown Connecticut broadleaf looks incredible.  In fact, everything about the look and feel of this cigar is appealing.  I wonder, though, whose handwriting is on the label?

CAO Escaparate Columbia Review

Brand: CAO                                          Country:  Columbia
   Size: Belicoso 6 1/8″ x 52                 Wrapper:  Habano
 Price: $13.00

CAO Columbia Review

The Label Factor:

The CAO Columbia follows the same pattern as the Brazilia (and the America/Italia) here and it works. By using the colors of the Columbian flag, you get a really slick label with vibrant colors. La Sirena Review

Brand: Miami Cigar Co & Pepin Garcia       Country:  Nicaragua
Size: Divine 5.5″ x 52                               Wrapper:  Connecticut Broadleaf
 Price: $10.00

The Label Factor:

The La Sirena’s label is pretty rad. Its non-traditional shape is interesting without being gimmicky and it’s unique without trying too hard just to be different. It definitely has some shelf appeal. In fact, I was strolling through the humidor of my local B&M and asked my non-cigar smoking fiance to pick out any cigar, and I would smoke it and review it. She was almost immediately drawn to the La Sirena –presumably because of the label. I wonder if Miami Cigar Co and Pepin Garcia had focus groups in an attempt to attract the under thirty female demographic…. Hey guys, it worked.

Opus X XXX Belicoso Review

The Label Factor:

This is it.  This is the one label to rule them all.  When I dream about cigars, this is the label I see.  Maybe it’s the reputation this cigar has or the hype surrounding it, but in my opinion, the Opus X line has THE quintessential cigar label.
