The Label Factor:

What the The Partagás Serie D No.4 lacks in pizazz, it makes up for with it’s legendary status in the Cuban cigar world. The simple red and gold band is iconic, which is enough for many to easily pick it out of a cigar lineup. I don’t know why all these cigars are in a lineup, but let’s not get bogged down in silly details.

Partagás Cifuentes Diciembre Review!

The Label Factor:

Well, thanks goodness for random samplers, because I never would have purchased this cigar on it’s own, purely because of the underwhelming label. First of all, it’s ugly. Second of all, there are several paragraphs of Spanish text that I don’t understand and I am programmed to dislike what I don’t understand. In a nutshell, ugly label. BUT! This turned out to be a pretty enjoyable smoke, especially considering the price I paid: $0.33. This was one of three cigars from a CI sampler for $1. A cigar would have to be pretty bad for me to think it wasn’t worth $.33.
