The Label Factor:

Outside of the Classic line, all the cigars from La Palina come wrapped in the same gorgeous band. I don’t blame them. When you have a winning formula you should stick with it. I do wish that more of the sticks had a secondary band, vis-à-vis the Mr. Sam, but that is a small complaint on an otherwise fantastic looking cigar.

The Label Factor:

This cigar has been on my radar for some time because of this label. It’s in Greek! I don’t know of any other cigars that feature anything besides Spanish or English on the label.  If Uncle Jessie from Full House were shopping around for a cigar, he’d probably settle on this one. Because it’s Greek…

Aside from the Greek, this label is all over the place stylistically.  With three different languages and three different fonts, the La Musa suffers a bit from multiple personality disorder, a characteristic that extends beyond the label to the flavor profile of the cigar.

The Label Factor:

The Liga Privada L40 follows the same design pattern as the rest of the LP line. Where the L40 gets a special nod, however, is the excitement it brings to have one of these in your possession. Being one of the more difficult Liga Privada Único sticks to locate, it’s thrilling when one finally lands in your humidor.
