Tatuaje Black Label 2013 Corona Gorda Review

The Label Factor:

With so many editions of the Tatuaje Black Label having been released over the years, it can often be difficult to keep them straight. Perhaps that’s why the 2013 Corona Gorda features a label with a little more bling. I think they could have gone the extra mile and referred to the stick as the Tatuaje Black Label Lil Jon. Or, if you wanted to give it a more Spanish vibe, the Tatuaje Black Label Pequeño Juan.

Bodega Reunion Digestivo Review

The Label Factor:

According to the Bodega Premium Blends webiste, the Reunión line:

Four Kicks Review

The Label Factor:

The Four Kicks has a pretty straight forward label with a classy vintage look. The texture along the edges gives everything a quality feel. Red and gold definitely seem to be a favorite among cigar manufacturers. From an interview we did with Jon Huber of Crowned Heads, I happen to know that these labels come from the same company in Holland that makes the Opus X labels. Maybe they had a sale on red and gold.

Padron 1964 Anniversary Review

Brand: Padron                           Country: Nicaragua
   Size: Monarca 6 1/2 x 46       Wrapper: Habano
  Price: $11.20 (Buy)

Padron 1964 Anniversary

The Label Factor:

Part of the attraction to smoking cigars is feeling like you are part of an elite club. Padron seems to understand that because each of these cigars comes with it’s own certficate of authenticity by way of the number on the label.  According to the Padron website, this double label system prevents counterfeit cigars.  I don’t really know why a counterfeiter couldn’t just throw a random number on there, but hey, it’s better than no number!
