Room 101 San Andres Review

The Label Factor:

When I first gazed upon the Room 101 San Andres label, I was struck with déjà vu, but couldn’t quite put my finger on what it reminded me of. After a deep dive into the bowels of my childhood, I realized it reminded me of the half-cyborg Leslie Nielson character Colonel Chi from the film Surf Ninjas. I’m about 99% sure that this is not where Room 101 got it’s inspiration, but there’s always that 1% chance…

Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure No.2 Review

The Label Factor:

The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2 has one of the prettiest Cuban cigar labels you’ll find outside of the Cohiba Behike. The double band combined with glossy and gorgeous colors, elevate the Epicure above other Cuban favorites such as the Montecristo No. 2 and the Partagas Serie D No. 4….at least in the looks department.

Drew Estate Cigar Safari Cigar Surgeon Review

The Label Factor:

One of the benefits to attending the Drew Estate Cigar Safari is the chance to create your own custom blend. This blend comes from fellow cigar blogger “Cigar Surgeon,” who writes for Cigar Federation. I would have liked to see a little more flair in the band. Is it too much to ask for a Liga Privada label with “Cigar Surgeon” text on it?
