La Palina Classic Review

The Label Factor:

The La Palina Classic is unique in that it’s the only one of the La Palina sticks not to feature the shiny gold crest. Instead, it has a label that makes sense for the it’s name. It’s simple, clean and looks like a label that could have easily been on a cigar in the 1920’s. To put it another way; it’s classic.

Arturo Fuente Añejo Review

Brand: Arturo Fuente                      Country: Dominican Republic
Size: No.55 6 x 55                         Wrapper: Maduro

Arturo Fuente Anejo Review

The Label Factor:

The Arturo Fuente Añejo tests the limits of how much stuff you can put on a cigar. You’ve got a label, a cedar strip wrapped around, and a red ribbon tied on the foot. I was half expecting a secondary band to hidden beneath the cedar. Combined it all works, and make the Añejo one of Arturo Fuentes more attractive offerings.

Headley Grange Drumstick Review

Brand: Crowned Heads                      Country: Dominican Republic

Price: $10.00 (Buy)                      No. Smoked: 2

Headley Grange Drumstick Review

The Label Factor:

The label on the Headley Grange Drumstick is identical to the standard Headley label, just a bit smaller to accommodate the slender 38 ring gauge. The Drumstick has some serious allure – it’s not only the appeal of such a unique looking cigar, but also the knowledge that this is an endangered species with only a limited release. Because I know how rare these guys are, I feel like it should have a “Limited Edition” kicker band similar to what was found on the Mule Kick. I want people to KNOW that I’m smoking a limited edition. Well, that’s okay – I came prepared. As someone who has never thrown away a cigar label, I was able to do a bit of recycling here. Am I weird for doing this? Yes. Did I get a kick out of it anyway? Yes. Am I done asking and answering my own questions? Yes.

Kristoff Corojo Limitada Review

The Label Factor:

While you probably can’t tell from the photos, the Kristoff Corojo Limitada label is made out of a leather or leather-like substance. Pleather, if you will.
