The Label Factor:

The La Palina Classic is unique in that it’s the only one of the La Palina sticks not to feature the shiny gold crest. Instead, it has a label that makes sense for the it’s name. It’s simple, clean and looks like a label that could have easily been on a cigar in the 1920’s. To put it another way; it’s classic.

The Label Factor:

Outside of the Classic line, all the cigars from La Palina come wrapped in the same gorgeous band. I don’t blame them. When you have a winning formula you should stick with it. I do wish that more of the sticks had a secondary band, vis-à-vis the Mr. Sam, but that is a small complaint on an otherwise fantastic looking cigar.

The Label Factor:

Named for the original founder of La Palina Cigars, Sam Paley, the limited edition Mr. Sam comes adorned with secondary band to compliment the signature gold LP label. If you took that off, you may have a hard time distinguishing the Sam from the Goldie, another limited release that we fell in love with. The Mr. Sam certainly has some big shoes to fill.
